Are you looking for the best arm exercises to build muscle mass in your biceps, triceps, and shoulders? Then you have come to the right place. You will find the best mass building bicep, tricep, and shoulder exercises to get your arms looking great.
Ever since I started doing these arm exercises, my co-workers have commented on the increase in muscle mass and definition in my arms. Trust me. These are the most effective arm exercises and they work if you do them properly!
The arm is made up of four muscle groups, the biceps, the triceps, the shoulders and the forearms. The first three making what we call the tank top muscles - the muscles we notice most when wearing a tank top.
The key to developing your arm muscles is to perform the best arm exercises with correct form. One should not be concerned with the quantity of an exercise but rather the quality of an exercise. Doing exercises with incorrect form will lead to less than optimum results no matter how many reps or sets you do.
The arms are important stabilizer muscles for most chest and back exercises. So building these muscles will help you perform better in other areas of your workout.

I suggest picking 4-5 exercises for each muscle - bicep, triceps, and shoulders - using a weight that will make you max out around 8-10 reps for bulk and 12-15 reps for lean. Try doing 2-3 sets for each of these exercises, with the last set being to failure.
It is good to alternate between these exercises performing a bicep exercise followed by a tricep exercise followed by a shoulder exercise. This will proide balance to your workout and allow each muscle group to rest before the next set.
If you want to build muscle, you must work your arm muscles hard enough to recruit all of your muscle fibers. If the last couple of reps are not making you work hard, then you need to up your weight. A good weight increase is 5% every other week for good muscle growth.
Don't forget to stretch before your arm workout. Stretching will help reduce injury and allow for a greater range of motion when you are performing your exercises.
If you feel tight while performing and exercise, stop and take a second to stretch out. If you still feel tight, do not continue the exercise as you will likely injure yourself by pulling a muscle.
