Fat Burning FoodsEating fat burning foods can help turn your body into a fat burning furnace. So I have created a list of fat burning foods that will help your body break down fat better.
Research has shown that certain foods can help you burn fat easier and faster. Does this mean you will not have to work out. Absolutely not, but as you age, the battle of the bulge gets harder to overcome. Eating the right foods can help your body burn fat more efficiently by boosting your metabolism.
List of Fat Burning FoodsMilk: Good old milk. Milk contains calcium which is a great metabolic catalyst. You should note that the daily requirement for calcium is 2000mg a day. Making sure you get that much calcium will help you lose weight faster than those that consume smaller amounts. Milk is also a great source of whey protein which helps in muscle growth and repair. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn. NOTE: Make sure you are drinking non-fat skim milk. Milks with fat in them contain artificial growth hormones which will actually make you store fat as opposed to burning it. Whole Grains & Oats:
Jalapenos, Habaneros & Cayenne Chiles:
Habaneros and Chiles do much the same as jalapenos. If you can tolerate eating hot peppers as part of a snack, Laval University in Quebec found that men that consumed coffee and snacks and foods with red pepper burned an average of 1,000 more calories a day! Eating one spicy meal a day can boost metabolism by 25%. Talk about super charging your metabolism. These are definitely fat burning super foods. Green Tea & Coffee:
Chicken: Chicken is high in metabolism-boosting protein. If you reduce you carb calories and replace them with lean chicken, you can stand to burn more calories every day of the week by 5 %. Salmon, Tuna and other fish: Fish is a great fat burning food that you can eat. It is high in Omega-3 fatty acids that can alter the level of leptin, a hormone, in your body. By lowering your leptin levels, you are able to burn more calories than you would with higher levels.
